Free Range Rare Breed bacon. Because you’re worth it.
These are two different styles from Fernleigh and The Gypsy Pig. Purchased at accredited local farmer direct markets.
And the difference from supermarket bacons? Stronger flavour, less water, less shrinkage, choice of cuts, more filling and importantly, ethically raised - free roaming in paddocks.
This is how country style bacon tasted before large scale agri biz took super fast growing, but less tasty pork breeds into sheds and pens so small that the pigs can’t move at all.
Do yourself, and the pigs a favour, choose ethically raised, slow grown meat from smaller farms. You’ll certainly taste the difference.
